You are right, Jstbcuz, if you are going through an anxious time then more glucose is released from the liver to provide the energy for fight or flight.
So anxiety causes our blood sugar tests like A1C or fasting one-off tests to read high.
This is something doctors never consider so a lot of people are being treated for diabetes based on false high blood sugar readings.
