I have benefitted so much from having a therapist to talk to. Someone who is safe basically and can't share my personal information. I wonder if I should become some kind of a therapist? I love people and want to help them. I am going to ask my therapist what he thinks about it.

What does it take to be a good therapist?
Are you suffering from a mental health condition?I've never considered this but it would make sense for your therapist to have actually been through what it is that you are suffering with, the only down side I can see is if you are not successful, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I hit it wrong and the worst happened.
I too like to help people but as you say about being able to offload some of your issues to a therapist, I'm not sure I could stand the stress of it all every day lots of different issues lots of different complications
True! Very interesting!
I feel like I was misdiagnosed with one. It's a very long story. But I know what it's like. I'm in the middle of figuring out what healing looks like for me.
I think everyone has mental problems sometimes. I definitely was struggling. It's a long story. I love methylfolate. Hope you're feeling better.
i think a good therapist is someone who's dealt with mental health personally and understands it intimately.
the fact that you're on this forum already tells me you have insight reequireed for a good therapist. and the chances are very high that you care about and can empathize with other people...
sounds to me like you'd be a "shoe in" for that job!
