over the years I’ve developed some issues, as I’m sure everyone has, but it feels like as soon as I’ve figured out how to deal with one of them something else pops up or resurfaces. So should I go and spend money on a therapist or just work on it myself?

Should I go to a therapist?
Apatheticpanda, as long as we have a breath in us, there will always be something
else that pops up into our lives. As to needing a therapist? Sometimes we need help
with getting back on the right path. Other times, it's a matter of adjusting in what
needs to be done. Your decision xx
Hello
No one can answer that except you. If you feel therapy would benefit you, go for it!🙂
If you feel that you can’t manage it by yourself then go to a therapist.... on the contrary, if you still feel that you are in control then no, you don’t need one. That’s something you have to figure out
What are some examples of issues you have resolved and ones you are currently facing.
Sorry this is a bit late but my anger issues I’ve resolved or at least learned how to handle it. I thought I was over my body image issues but no that came back with a vengeance and right now I’d say my anxiety is what I’m currently dealing with the most. And there are some things I just want confirmation on because I don’t want to self diagnose
Absolutely, even if it’s just an initial checkup. See if going makes you feel better and go from there
Going to therapy can help you with the process of getting back on track. And the beauty of it, is that you can also make it a short treatment. I always try to encourage others to go to therapy not because you cannot handle things for yourself, but that is good to have a non-biased safe place to process information. There are terrible therapist as well as wonderful ones. I hope this helps. I know I came in a bit later.
