Hi I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a direct switch of medication? I was on 150 mg of Effexor XR then went to 75 mg for 1 week then right into 100 mg of Zoloft. Effexor works good for me but I’m experiencing some OCD issues I’d like to control so my doctor and therapist said it wouldn’t hurt to try the Zoloft and see if it helps. On a side note I suffer more with anxiety than depression. Just curious if anyone has had any experience with this and how long before I notice the Zoloft working. Thanks

Both of these medications can cause your anxiety to increase at first. After 2 weeks i found i was less anxious when I was on 75mg Effector. Its about finding a medication that suits you.
It took 8 weeks for me before it kicked in, and I made a commitment to work through the side effects.
So glad I did, as my anxiety is completely gone and I am back to my old self.
Same dosage, 100mg...
Stick with it and make sure to thank the good Lord for his blessings....
