I've been reading about "popped grain" so I've been trying it.
It's not like conventional popcorn (or not as dramatic) but I like it.
Today I popped a tablespoon of whole sorghum grain in 1/2 T butter. It was nice.
The other day I popped lentils after soaking them. You can hardly tell that they pop, but they do. And they don't have gluten if that matters to anyone!
Some of my soaked lentils started to sprout in the drainer, so I mixed them up with carrots, polenta, some chopped up chicken, and a bit of tomato sauce and spices and it's quite good.
