Take from a 50 year veteran of this disease.
Much of mt solution was found in taking concrete actions of different ways of behaving- to name only a few:
diet changes
eliminate alcohol & cigarettes
exercise
people connections
just being willing at times
forgiving myself
forgiving others
acceptance of whatever circumstance I find myself in
meditate
practice yoga
making lots of mistakes
never giving up
feeling my pain until it is all felt up
staying on a working anti-depressant ( and many many years back an anti-psychotic med)
allowing others what is theirs
More acceptance of what ever that "thing" is
ok - enough for now
Take what you like and leave the rest
