Panic over nausea

Help! Please help. I woke up feeling nauseous & I’m heading into a PTSD panic attack! I had a really bad bout of anxiety 2 years ago which caused severe nausea for four months until I landed in mental hospital. I have PTSD from that. Every time I feel nauseous, it sends me over the edge!

I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this. I’m also have anxiety induced nausea. It started when I was weaning and eventually stopped my antidepressant. My anxiety returned because of the discontinuation and then fear of nausea set in! So, it’s a vicious cycle. Night time panic attacks also started. I’m trying to practice deep breathing as soon as they start as there is some nausea associated with the panic. Do you have a fear of vomiting? I do and I guess that’s why I freak out when I feel nauseous. Have you tried anti nausea drugs? I try not to rely on them but have them on hand. You’re not alone!
