Im wondering if it's a brain recovery process from a sort of brain trauma...I'm struggling with my uncontrollable emotional instability. it's a recent thing. This morning was so bad. I felt I'll lose myself.
I know my brain has been suffering from the aftermath of antidepressant withdrawal, and I'm terribly sad since I lost my beloved cat two days ago. But 'morning hell' today was just too much.

Morning hell is aptly said. It takes time...plus you just lost your cat so it's going to be a bit tougher. It took me more than two weeks after I lost my dog to be a little less depressed.
Is that Wellbutrin? I just started that yesterday. Emotional instability is very uncomfortable for me. I’m a logical, resilient person but my brain doesn’t agree. I hope you find yourself again soon.
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your cat.As to your "question": yes, I do believe that it can take time for the brain to recover from any kind of trauma, medical trauma included.
Thank you for reaching out. It helps me a lot. Its so sad to think my kiddie won't be back ever again.... Yes brain recovery takes time. Finally. three years later....I m getting better but I'm still not myself. I have no brain damage. But I know he cessation of Lexapro totally messed up my neurotransmisdion. Hugs
You're welcome. You managed to get off Lexapro?! Good job! I've tried to get off that medication 4 different times with no success. It will take awhile to get over the loss. I'm so sorry again.
Thank you for reaching out. It was extremely hard to go through the terrible withdrawal. But I dont have anymore severe withdrawal symotom now. But it really traumatized my brain....I'm still not totally myself yet.
Yeah it's so hard and lonely without having my sweet cat since my brain isn't a perfect condition yet. I feel so sad by losing a big support. I have one more cat but he isn't a friendly cat.
