Help! I'm new and just need some help...

I'm brand new here, first of all. I just joined a few minutes ago and am trying to fiture out how to navigate this site so bear with me! I'm having really bad anxiety and depression over our future in this country, and whether i'll still be able to get medical care and/or medications. This worries me constantly, I think about it all during the day and it even wakes me up and I lay there worrying all night. I'm having nightmares from the PTSD I have about my pets beingi tortured and killed, and in the 9 years since this happened, I've not had proper treatment for it. It's getting WORSE as time passes, not better. I can't find a psychiatrist or a therapist to treat me. This is stressing me out so bad and all of these things combined are really making me crazy! I need some help, and it seems that NO ONE CARES!!! My GP just started me on Cymbalta about a week ago, and I'm also taking Gabipentin for my chronic fibromyalgia pain. After being on opiates for over 40 years, I'm now on Suboxone as well. I just need someone to talk to, as I have no friends and family has just written me off, the story of my life,

I should have scrolled down a bit. Sorry you are in such pain made much worse by the feeling that no one cares. We do care here and want to offer support where we can. Are you finding that none of the meds help at all? I realize that’s not all you need but am wondering if they ever take the edge off.

Ok, wow. Deep breath. I am so sorry you are trying to balance all that on your shoulders by yourself

May I ask which country you are in? I am trying to see if I see a pattern in not being able to find help.

I don't know much of the details about your history besides what you shared, but I am so sorry about what happened to your pets. There is no excuse. Did you witness it or find them? As an avid pet lover, I can't imagine your pain.

One thing you have to realize about family and friends is that we can burn them out. It is not that they have written you off, but out of a human self-preservation instinct, they had to pull back. I have lost friends. It took me many years to repair my life with my parents.

How long have you had fibro? Gabapentin might help, but there are other meds. I can't remember what my friend was on. By the way, you can also try a search for fibro on the homepage and get support directly from that community.
