Suboxone

To those who take Suboxone, what dose do you take? I'm going to try to change from Belbuca to Suboxone but don't know what the dosage should be.

anyone on here physically dependent on the suboxone for RLS ? Is there hope to weaning off it without too much dis comfort ?

The doc wants to add one pill at night time and I am already taking Horizant and Suboxone.

The Aug 8 show is all about using buprenorphine (mainly suboxone) to treat Opioid addiction. Nothing new here, but it sheds a little light on why buprenorphine is hard to get.

the doc now put him on suboxone. Are the two drugs together creating the mess. Maybe opioids aren’t for him. However the 1200 mg of Horizant was hit or miss also

so my hubby tried methadone and then Suboxone but both gave him severe anxiety and insomnia. So he stopped taking them. He is also on 1200 mg Horizant Doc ordered .5 mg Xanax for him. It did help with sleep immensely. So my hubby decided to test something out.

I have seen Suboxone mentioned on here. I don't know anything about it only that someone said it helps with depression. Has anyone any information on this, is it effective. Thanks

I am considering asking my GP if I can switch to suboxone, and am interested in any advice anyone might have. If I was to do that, would it be a straight switch? And what would be the appropriate dose? Many thanks in advance.

Perhaps those who have been declined Buprenorphine could try again and ask for Suboxone version of buprenorphine which contains naloxone - just a thought

Since starting the Suboxone 2 months ago, the impulse control issues went away almost immediately. I quit drinking coffee all day, quit antihistamines, quit porn addiction, and realized I had been pretty horrible towards my wife for a few years.

My doctor prescribed Suboxone for me (Buprenorph/Naloxone) and it is working well. One of my younger brothers lives in Totnes, Devon UK and his GP told him he can’t prescribe Buprenorph for restless legs.

Switch to Suboxone, which also contains naloxone. I don’t really want to take something I don’t need, and unsure of dose. I read about adding amitripyline in addition to methadone to counter tolerance, but I think I must have recorded the drug incorrectly.

I have had IBS for over ten years now and I'm in the most painful flare-up I've ever ever had as I stopped taking opioid medications without me wanting to stop taking them as they are the only things that helped only for them to be replaced by Suboxone, which my GP put me on because she thinks I'm dependant

I was reading that this is a serious side effect of Suboxone so I have asked Dr. Buchfuhrer if I can go back to oxycodone and see if this horrible pain goes away. has anyone else experienced this with Suboxone? I am at my wits end.

In September, 2023, my sleep study doctor, at The University of Michigan, prescribed Suboxone. Also known as Buprenorphine and Naloxone 2 mg/0.5 mg. It is a sublingual film that I put under my tongue. It was life changing. My first dose was at noon, and I slept all night with no kicking.

Most recently Suboxone, but can't tolerate any of them. I've started using the Nidra device approx 1 month ago. No relief from that. I usually have 3 RLS episodes during the day and 5 at night. My Ferritin was 17. I had blood work done 1 week post infusion and it went up to 750.

I have noticed this three times in the last few weeks, after being on suboxone (sub-lingual strips) for last 2 months. Within 5 minutes of taking the suboxone, my RLS will kick in (generally at a medium-ish intensity).

I tried suboxone briefly but didn’t find it that much superior to the methadone, and it was more expensive.

I had to get on Suboxone which I really didn't have to bad of withdrawals however my other doctors told me not to stop cold turkey. However I am now missing work and in pain 24 hours a day. That is where I am right now
