is there anyone out there whose anxiety tends to get worse at night? During the day I am fine, but one night comes it reaches to what feels like a level 20
Night time anxiety. : is there anyone... - Anxiety and Depre...
Night time anxiety.
Yeah, it hits me more at night and especially on the weekends. Seems when the sun is shining I feel happier. How are you doing? Anything on your mind?
I am doing much better, this week has been a little on the rough side, but I just keep telling myself one day at a time... that’s all I can do...
ashanikita, we all react differently to anxiety. I am the opposite of both you and KailaLili.
I could literally stay up all night and love the dark, gloomy rainy days. Go Figure xx
Same here agora, anxiety much worse in the daytime around other people. @ashanikita it makes sense why it can occur at night, maybe you have a lot of obligations or stressors the next day? You have a lot on your mind? Maybe alone at night? I guess there can be many more reasons but sometimes deep breathing and listening to calming voices or songs on YouTube helps
For sure LGrace xx
Absolutely. I literally feel it in the pit of my stomach as soon as the sun starts going down. Cloudy days affect my mood so much. I’m counting the days until Spring...it’s 74!
Yes! Like when I am at work, I am totally fine, but once It starts getting close to ending work my anxiety starts going up times 10
My anxiety is worse on rainy gloomy days and I do better at night then during the day
You are not alone, mine gets bad when is dark and gloomy out. Especially night. I have a “happy light” for light therapy in mornings i try to sit infront of for at least 30 minutes. If you get one, make sure it is 10,000 LUX or higher.
It depends on what is planned for the following day. Most of the time, my anxiety is worst upon waking. Usually I’m not anxious at night because I look forward to the escape of sleep, if I’m lucky.
Listening to the radio at night helps take my mind off myself.
Yes, I think it happens with most of the people. Some biological or evolutionary reason must be there for it.
Try to manage it. Like reduce night waking up time, use less phone during night, keep the easiest tasks for the night time etc.
Just some changes in the lifestyle will do.
I hope this helps!
