help with anxiety.

i have anxiety and bodily symptoms are giving me a hard time to do my daily routines.i also feel the anxious feelings are never leaving me - kind of being on stand-by and waiting to turn "on" again..any things that i can do to lessen its impact? this all started around march 2020 (yes..pandemic period). what do you guys do if you feel stressed / anxious?

Hey there! This might seem odd, but when you start feeling this way have you ever sat in front of a mirror and talked to yourself or imagined you’re talking to someone else, assuming they are listening (like spiritually connected to them)...for me, it helps to do a thought purge, just to get it out... Just an idea, as something that sometimes helps me. Also, when you feel lonely, it helps...its kind of talking to yourself, but its like acting out a conversation. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I try to question my thoughts when I’m extremely anxious, asking myself questions such as “why am I anxious? Am I in danger right now” the answer is typically no. I’m sorry you are feeling stressed and anxious. It certainly seems like they do not go away and just waiting to ruin something for us. It’s frustrating but we can still find ways to help prevent it from occurring. I loved @kailalili response!

as for now, i practice deep breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation. i do some walking and stretching exercises too. with eating , i try to have fruits. i also take supplements (multivitamins, omega 3) daily. i am now trying meditation as i read that it can help with anxiety. another thing is i will be starting my session with a psychologist this coming saturday.

I’m sorry 😐 U R going thru this. I can totally relate especially today because it’s the 5th anniversary of my mom’s death from pancreatic cancer. My top B/p is 150 I’m doing deep breathing exercises
