1) replies to a post should remain on the OP's (original poster) topic.
2) conversations tend to flow on their own path, and go off-topic - which makes for interesting and dynamic conversations.

I respect #1 - but i love when #2 happens (i'm so punny), because diversions can get very interesting, and informative to all concerned in unpredictable ways.

I think that you have a right to be off topic sometimes I mean I was taking about pixie stick recipe to talking about how I don’t like South Park because they mocked people with Tourette’s to books to lemon meringue pie
I am interested in Nero stuff and learning about disability’s conditions and syndromes i have a friend who has Tourette’s and I have a brother with autism it’s a learning process 😊
unfortunately for all of us.... many would rather live their own truth in their head - and force it upon us to justify their need to think that way....
try not to over think what i just said.... i already did it for all of us!!!!
#2 - have i told you i like how you think lately? - because i do, do (like how you think)!!!! ROTF
#3 - not only do great minds think alike, but apparently they're in the gutter too. besides ... fun people hang out in the gutter.... just gotta stay upstream of item #2....
Oh I do all the time. I had to start using a walking stick a while ago and make jokes about it ie having a conversation whilst walking with friends who are much fitter. They end up going faster so I have to shout, then I shut up and wait for them to notice I'm trailing behind then they stop for me. Rinse and repeat. Hilarious
GMF - you should know by now... no sorry's needed - i love to hear you giggle.... at least the giggle i hear in my head that belongs to you... you have a charming, and funny giggle BTW....
I agree about the off topic conversation... I get involved in many... gives a spin on things and we do learn more about each other. Lightens our burdens a bit.
Hi the rules do say we shouldn't go off topic when replying to posts. If someone posts about a serious matter then I agree with this as it is someone else's post and it would be disrespectful. But if they are talking generally or it's a jokey post then I do love the off topic humour which can follow.
