Day 4

Hi guys, new here - quick question, I'm on day 4 of 50mgs of sertraline and for the past 2 days I have had all the side effects, plus a hammering heart, so I called 111 earlier and the Dr suggested tomorrow I take 25mgs instead of the 50mgs. Has anyone done this so early on? And how was it?

Thank you

Hi, I am currently on sertraline too. I started off with 50mgs and had major side effects, it past after 7 days. However if your GP recommends that you reduce your dosage, I would say go with it. As they know what they are talking about😁

Thank you for replying! I'm going to take the advice of the ShropDoc and take the 25mgs today instead of the 50mgs and then call my GP in the morning. What side effects have you had if you don't mind me asking?
