Day 4: Day 4 of stilling in bed and no... - Anxiety and Depre...
Day 4
Hello boston, I definitely can relate I've spent extended periods of time in my bed in the last 20 years I suffer from major depression anxiety and PTSD symptoms. You are too inside your head you need to try to present a distraction maybe. If you're not noticing your cat is not feeling well after 4 hours you're very disconnected. I relate to this feeling very well. You will be okay even if you have to stay in bed a few more days or more. You will rise again eventually you must go through whatever it is that is overwhelming your brain. There are times where I've had to take very tiny baby steps to get myself out of bed. You can think about it all day but nothing is going to change until you actually take action. Get up get out of bed walk into the kitchen and then go walk back into your bedroom. Even something as small as that can be a triumph it is a result of taking action that will help you to feel better. Good luck give yourself a break and find a way to help your cat even if you have to ask for someone else's assistance. Try to have a good day and be well. Montana
Good morning,
I am so sorry that you are feeling such anxiety/ depression. Do you notice a small pattern there in what you just posted? You said; This is day 4 of you still sitting in bed and no one in the real world seems to not notice that you are missing. And you also said that it took you 4 hours to notice that there is something wrong with your cat.
How did you finally notice that there is something wrong with your cat? Did your cat come up to you on your bed? Did your cat reach out to you by meowing? Did your cat get your attention somehow?
No one will know what is wrong with you unless to make an attempt to reach out. This is a good start posting on here at Healthunlocked. How can we help you? Do you have any family or friends around you that you can call or maybe your doctor? A church? A health community care?...
Prayer is always a good way to find peace and help, direction and wisdom.
Is Lina okay now?
