I am struggling with many different diagnosis of mental illness which to be honest I cant explain which is winning its like my mind and body are always fighting to see who will win and the kicker of the game is it is endless and I am just a helpless viewer if I am lucky otherwise I am unable to recall or realize where it started or where it is going. My biggest obstacle right now is remembering to do things and following through with them consistently. For example my medication. I take it and will be doing well and I will miss a dose or two which always results in all other habits I had been doing better in going back to me being in a very bad mental state health and hygiene. I am trying to find a way to break that but I really need someone to talk to I am afraid to let family know or anyone else in fear of their judgment among other things.

Go buy you a pill organizer that has slots for all 7 days of the week. Put it by your bedside, in the kitchen, somewhere you’ll see it. You can put an alarm on your phone as well as a reminder to take your medication.

Welcome! This is a safe place to talk with others, no one here will judge you, you are in good company with many others similar to you.

Thank you for sharing with us. I’m happy you are reaching out for support. That’s important. You are not alone. When you are struggling with mental illness it can be very hard to focus. If you have a phone I would take a minute to put your entire daily routine in your alarms. Everything from taking a shower to brushing your teeth. No one but you has to know what your alarms are for, but you. When are able to follow a routine you can remove your alarms. But for now take the extra pressure off yourself. Also, remember that there may be people in your life also struggling who may not share because of their fear. Most people I see every day at work think I’m a cheerful person.

I noticed mental illness.. and treating it with medication.. but I didn't see anything about a therapist. Maybe if you'd get a weekly therapist, even if it's over the phone, it's the only way to heal from mental illness. The medications are just to keep your symptoms under control as you work through your personalized treatment plan with a psychologist.

Either way this goes, I would definitely seek out emergency treatment if you feel you are a threat/harm to yourself or someone else. Yes, a "break" is considered a very dangerous. There are amazing psychiatric units they will transfer you to from the er. All you have to say to be immediately taken in and admitted is "I am suicidal".

If not, at least call a crisis line if this is not enough. I plan on setting up live FB Support Groups via Group Video Conference for all types of mental illnesses being triggered by the lack of social interaction. This shows me just how much I need to.
