Hello I’m looking for new friends. Someone that battles with anxiety and agoraphobia that I can talk with about my problems and they understand. Preferably a female in their 20s but I’m not picky. I’m just struggling right now.

Hi Sierra. I’m Shnookie. Though I’m 62, I definitely know about anxiety and agoraphobia. Do U see a therapist and R U on any meds. I’ve actually been on stress related disability from work since

December and will end in about 2 months.

There R some things that I do to try to

lower my anxiety level. I do deep breathing exercises do a 5 minute meditation program on you tube; listen to beautiful

quiet music that U enjoy 😉. As 4 me

I listen to a live version of

Andrea Bocelli singing Besa Me Mucho

in Spanish pick whoever U like and connect to. My mom had agoraphobia years ago and I was the only one there 4 her. Since we were so close and I live in L.A. and her

hospital was near U CLA I would come to the hospital every day and I was able to take her out to a cafe and we would have

coffee I know this is the age of COVID

Do U live by yourself or with family or

roommates? If U live with other people

would any of them be willing to go outside

in front of where U live to start and each day as U feel more comfortable take a

small walk with U ? I’m in your

corner. Hugs 🤗 Shnookie

There probably are many members who are in their 20's who replied.
