Does overthinking weakens your body?

Been trying to think of happy thoughts but i just cant stop those sad ones.. I don't know what to do anymore as i have done everything that i can. I am thinking that I am already worst.. But I don't want to go to a specialist.. Unfortunately, I can feel my body's getting weaker each day.. I tend to have a lot of illnesses. One to another... We would have known? I might be dying because of such an illness..

I don’t believe that it weakens your body, however, I do believe that overthinking fuels anxiety which can in many ways use up a lot of your energy. Have you seen a therapist?

Overthinking can not directly weaken your body.

A therapist.. or someone who can really help?? I have anxieties, depression and panic attacks.. it started 2years ago..

I don't think overthinking can cause physical weakness, no. Mental exhaustion yes, but not physical weakness.

I over think about over thinking its unreal.to break that cycle try grounding yourself in the here and now.for instance easier said than done mind, heres the thing we think about doing something like having a bath for example and the more we think about the effort involved especially in a bad flare up either mental or physical it seems such a massive thing putting the bins out ironing a shirt the list goes on.try not to think about it and just do it 15 mins later and boom youve done it and you can give yourself a big pat on the back.a think in this day and age of social media and so on we think we should be doing all the made up bull s##t others say and do personally appart from this site and fibromyalgia i dont do social media.live your life at your pace and to the best you can.

I sometimes look at it like this.we live in a house or flat whatever it may be and my thoughts an d the world can close right in.and feel to much.now take a step back and think we are nothing in the grand scheme of the universe a dot in an ifinate space.that can help ground me.also try stay away from people who send out negative vibes.or try to tell you to do this or that.unless there usefull and you like the idea or they are professionals who know what may help i wish you all the best keep strong there is always hope.👍

Hi HulkM sending you a "gentle hug" from another Fibromite

Wishing you a good weekend :) xx

It wont weaken your body unless your over thinking is stopping you do physical activity.which in turn you will see a decline in strenght.I know its hard but try push yourself to do some form of exercise twice a week as we get older we need good strong muscles around our joints to prevent falls and other issues. A nice walk couple of times a week is better than nothing also lift your mood and a little bit of strength training if you can.👍 i bought a tredmill that folds up years ago excellent for when you dont feel like going out or the weather is awful.good luck

Yeah, it is something like that. My brain isn't stopping, and so does it affect my physical activity.. :( I just really want to lay in bed, something like that.. But i'll try to go out and walk.. I appreciate your comment and advise. :) Thank you.
