Does anyone else suffer from severe anxiety and agoraphobia? I haven’t been able to leave my house since February and I don’t know what to do. Every time I try to leave I get panic attacks and feel like I can’t breathe. I really would like to talk to someone that’s also going through this or has overcame this so I can’t get help. Thank you in advance.

Agoraphobia
Hi,
I have had that problem before.
I faced it little by little. With lots of love and patience I got a TON better. I started with small walks.
I have this mainly in traffic. Its scary and sometimes I don't even want to leave the house because all I can think about is being stuck in traffic with no way out! Its so difficult to deal with but I manage to push through. The more you put yourself out there and in those situations the easier it gets because you start getting used to it. Sorry you're dealing with this.
Hi Sierramist I did suffer long and hard with severe anxiety as well as Agoraphobia, hence my name Agora1. During the time I was house bound (5 years), I took medication
as well as had multiple therapy sessions by phone per week. I knew that I would conquer
this agoraphobia and anxiety by researching everything about the Mind/Body Connection.
I knew the answer lay within me. YouTube became my "go to".. I was in a situational
anxiety issue and had to learn how to accept the fact that not everything in life can be fixed.
Once you accept anxiety as not harmful you can get over the fear of the physical symptoms
and work on the emotional process.
With Meditation and Breathing techniques, I was able to once again get out of the house,
drive my car, go back to the stores and get my life back. Not all at once, but step by step.
Each step was a "win", each win gave me confidence and less fear. I'm now here to pass
it forward in helping others going through intense anxiety issues. Never give up... :)xx
Hi. I’ve felt like you described many many times in the past. It’s a really debilitating feeling; sorry that you’re going through it. But it’ll get better little by little step by step.
