So I’m trying to be healthier and that means healthy in my thoughts and speech as well as what I put and refuse to put into my body. I want to explore spiritually too. Although I know I need to improve, I just am having a hard time believing in myself. I will take one thing at a time!
What do you do when you want something but you feel heavy from the weight of the challenge? Maybe tomorrow will look brighter.

I play a guided meditation about self love. Still trying to conquer it but I have hope.
I smoke ganja and go out into nature and meditate. I ground myself and reconnect with my spirit guide. I wish you luck on your journey. Stay Irie, one love.
Love this reply!!! I finally got to try Blue Dream when visiting CO. Definitely a strain that helped with mood lift, although the landscape was a medicine of its own. Enjoy your day!
Well the people who know me on here know that I am very inspired by music. A positive song helps me a lot. One of my favorite songs is Always Tomorrow by Gloria Estefan. It keeps me holding on that my life can get better. Have a great night!
Thanks for your words of wisdom. I really will use them right now. There’s so much going on in my life it’s especially hard to not get ahead of myself anticipating the worst.
Yes I miss a bunch of people in here too. So far it still seems like a caring place.
How are you today? Any fun plans to look forward to?
My plans are going into nature today and then in about 2 weeks I’m taking a road trip vacation to a skate ramp to meet up with other skateboarders like my sons.
Awesome! Do you enjoy riding with your sons? I taught both my boys how to snowboard from 4 years old we rip it and it’s one of the only things that still helps me disconnect from depression and appreciate
I don’t skateboard myself but I cheer them on. I take them for breaks into nature a lot. I’m more of a runner myself. That’s so awesome that you taught your boys to snowboard. So you still do?
Painting was one of my early tools of coping in a time when I didn’t understand things....still creative with wood but picking up a brush seems alien these days.
Restoring old rusted parts on my toys gives me the same white noise these days
First, I set the goal in mind. Yours seems to be healthier, physically and mentally. Next, I break it down into smaller, achievable tasks. In your case, maybe increase physical activity, and eat less junk food. Mentally, to start a gratitude journal and note the good things from each day. Actually, journaling your progress on your healthier you journal can keep you motivated. Give yourself small rewards along the way. If you eat healthy during the week, maybe reward yourself with a small dessert during the weekend. Mental rewards can be a bit trickier, but if you did well during the week, maybe a favorite movie. Lastly, we're human, and we mess up. But tomorrow is a new day, a fresh start. Try to let it go and start again. Prayers for peace, wisdom and strength.
