Vaccine trials

Has anyone got the opportunity to be part of the Oxford covid vaccine trial and what would be your thoughts on doing it. Would you take the chance?

I haven’t had the opportunity. I would have to learn more about it but I think I would be open to the idea. Vaccine development is a pretty well established science and I am ok with getting the vaccine once it comes out.

I live in the US and I would not be part of a trial nor would I take it once it received approval for public use. I would wait a year or so.

I had a friend who volunteered for a trial at Northwick Park, uk and thank god he was on placebo as others lost limbs through trial. Put me off for life I’m afraid much as I’m frantic to get the vaccine
