My heart is beating out of my chest and I’m pretty sure I’m going to puke so someone anyone please have a conversation with me we can talk about anything
Waiting to get the vaccine - Anxiety and Depre...
Waiting to get the vaccine
It’s the needles I know some people have horrible side effects after taking it
Some people not all. So think positive that you will be ok. There's no way to predict.
I wouldn't say horrible. All I have heard about is a sore arm and maybe flu like symptoms for a day or so. Of course there has been a very small amount who have more serious symptoms but there is no reason to think you will be one of them.
My mind have a way of making the needle look bigger than it actually is but I’m so glad I got this over with, my arm feel sore and I feel nauseous but that’s about it hopefully I don’t feel anything else later or tomorrow
Take some deep breaths. It will be over quickly
I’m trying to control my breathing but I can’t remember the techniques that I learned
Focus on the breath let everything else go
Beautiful Sunflower 🌻... you are so strong, you can do this. I hate hate needles & doctors... & I got the vaccine.Believe me it'll be over before you know it... definitely reward yourself. 🫂 Here for you Danielle.💗
I feel like someone put a weight on my chest
🫂💗 Try to focus on your breathing,.. like Dolphin14 said. Do you have Spidey with you? Give him pets, it'll smooth you. And be honest with the nurse... they'll help you out. With you hun.
They did a great job helping me calm down the saw spideys service dog vest they figured it out
I did it it was like the lady said a tiny mosquito bite
So proud of you Danielle. I had my husband with me for both, was a big help. The nurse who did it was awesome... by the time I felt it it was done. How are you doing? 💗
I feel fine now actually my arm was hurting I couldn’t sleep on it and the nausea is gone too I’m suppose to get the next one on the first of next month
Needles i have always been afraid of them
Well done for facing your fears. It's not really a needle - more like a small prick on your arm and it's done. Have you never pricked your finger, well it's probably less painful than that.
Turn your head, close your eyes & let out a big breath. I'm diabetic taking needles is an everyday thing for me. The secret is to be exhaling while the needle goes in. I promise you won't feel a thing.
How are you doing? Are you ok?
I did it!! It was actually like a tiny pinch I didn’t realize when they gave it to me since they we’re asking me questions about my life and stuff
GREAT!!! Distraction was what you needed. I'm so happy for you. Go home and hug your fur baby
❤️🐬
Hey well done I'm proud of you! xx
I'm proud of you Danielle Love you xx

Lol I’m trying not to think about the second one but I hope so too that I’ll remember it was just a tiny pinch and I have this post as a reminder to help me
🌻❤️ thank you for chatting with me through this
I just now saw this. Glad you did well... good job!!!!
⭐️ 🌟 ❤️🌻 thanks love I’m glad I tackled that one lol
❤️ 🌻 ⭐️ ❤️
I didn't have any problems Danielle and I'm sure you won't have either. It's much better to be safe than sorry. It's only a little jab and will be over in a few seconds. Nothing to worry about. Hugs x
You were right it was just a tiny pinch, it’s getting worse over here so it’s better to be on the safe side for my sake and my family
Lol that man deserves a record deal 😂 the lady in the back is definitely the best back up dancer of all time. Did you get yours already Alan
Isn’t she great 😄….oh yes I was at the front of the line …had the 2 never felt a thing no side effects but I never expected to have any ….I trust the experts ….hope you didn’t get any ill effects apart from a dead arm but that’ll be gone tomorrow
I feel great now yeah the sore arm made it uneasy to sleep but it’s all gone now, the second dose on the first of next month
Thank you! Thank you! I know it was hard. I know people that are so scared because they are immune compromised. Truly... every vaccinated person gets us closer to beating it.
Yeah it’s better to be on the safe side ❤️
She’s gonna be just fine !
Please don’t get me worried or anxious, I had a long exhausting day today so please
Please don't worry about the vax. Side effects are mild. Lots don't get any at all. I was as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rockers. But I decided I was more afraid of the virus. Got my shots. The only thing I got was a stiff neck the next day. Other than that 2 months later still no complaints.Did you see that omelette someone posted? Sounds good & nutritous. I've gotten some good recipes here. Do you cook?
I know a lot Hidden . First it is still in use, not revoked. It is one option that is not free. The infusions cost 250-300 usd at my local hospital and may not be covered. It merely reduces symptoms or shortens the illness. A vaccination teaches you to fight it off permanently. Moderna is over 90% effective. Less than 1% of vaccinated people have been hospitalized let alone died.
But that is besides the point. In both cases the virus can hang around in your nose and you can give it to someone else. If you are significantly immune compromised you do not want to risk it. When a population reaches herd immunity the virus has fewer places to jump to and survive so even if it exists the chances of getting it and not being able to fight it off is reduced. So is the ability to mutate. Right now delta is able to jump really easily because there are enough unvaccinated people and because it is more viral. They believe herd immunity threshold needs to be over 90% now.
Hidden If you have some claim please post the source instead of asking someone else to hunt it down. It is only a partial revoke when the treatment is used alone. We have vaccines that are safe and work much better. They still see value for people who are severely immune deficient for reducing symptoms. This treatment does not in any way replace a vaccine. To summarize:
• vaccines teaches your body to learn how to fight it off. If a vaccinated person gets the virus they usually experience very mild symtoms and then your own antibodies learn how to kill it. monoclonal antibody treatment only reduces the impact of COVID.
• vaccines are safe. Millions of people have gotten and >0% experience anything more than minor temporary side effects. OTOH, millions are long haulers with no end in site.
• there is no nanotechnology or laser beams or any other tech! (Rant: What is funny to me is we have already made ourselves slaves to corporations so what would they gain? I mean we willingly give them our data, work without raises for years, buy stupid stuff that in many cases is harmful. Oh they want to reduce the population? Well guess what? We are doing that to ourselves too. The rich can build safe houses. The rest of us are on our own. Ponder that.)
• a virus is like any other living being. It adapts. So expect more variants as long as there is no herd immunity. In fact some experts are calling it endemic. Way to go team! Woo hoo!
• In the beginning they thought you could get it from surfaces. They now know that is highly unlikely. Science evolves. If you think about it with common sense you will realize how unlikely it is to get covid from fecal matter.
Honestly, lots of people are scared to get it. Your health care professional or office is the best place to ask. You trust them for anything else medical. Why not hear them out?
Hidden I value journalists that do the research and I pay more for journalism than TV. I even dig into the references. I am not going to share a year of following the news with you. You started this. You need to share your sources.
"What I was referencing earlier was the Eily Lilly ‘s drug which got revoked back in June of this year."
Then reference it! I am not interested in guessing or doing the work for you.
"Like I said, I had no idea that nanotechnology was used to deliver the spike protein in the body. This is a fact. Just look it up."
No! Geez. Provide your source please. You made the claim. It is not my job to look it up.
"It is good to know that Gov. Desantis of Florida will be authorizing a different kind of monoclonal antibody therapy for those who are high risk"
Great! The state map looks like a bad case of chicken pox of red right now.
"I hope everyone is aware and gets this treatment."
It isn't for everyone! It is for people who get covid and at are at high risk.
Did you read what he said? Here I am doing the work again.🙄
From the Miami Herald:
The Republican governor said he believes this monoclonal antibody treatment is not as well known because it received federal emergency use authorization about the same time as the mRNA vaccines were being approved, and that the focus “rightfully” was on vaccines at the time. He said he felt it was important to increase its use along with vaccines saying they were “the most effective" yet seen for people who are already infected.
“I don't think it's an either or,” he said. “We have people in society that are not vaccinated. We also have people who are vaccinated who are still testing positive. Either way, if you get in that situation, particularly in these high-risk categories, this should be your stop.”

I'm done. Provide your sources if you want further discussion.
Hidden You aren't sharing information though! Your telling me what you think are facts without any references. Disregarding *all* journalism because it is in a newspaper is just saying "I am biased". There are ways to critically assess a story on its merits without ignoring an entire industry. In fact I bet the sources you read say things like "Don't believe the media!" or "The MSM is wrong", "don't believe the liberals!", "they want you to be afraid!", "they are brainwashing you!" but do you actually look at what the media said and judge for yourself? According your own statement "So, you do get your information from news media. I do not." you don't. When websites make dramatic statements like that they are trying to be persuasive. In professional newspapers you put that sort of thing clearly labeled in the opinion section. Journalism is about presenting you with information that is backed. They have specific professional mandates or they are discredited.
You quote facts from CDC. Do you actually go to the website? I do. They have an albeit slow but really good section with stats and maps with different overlays. You can download the data and do your own analysis. They even offer a simple to use web tool where you can build your own charts. I have done both. CDC data is public and owned by the people. Fun fact: CDC is the oldest, most comprehensive dataset on public health. It is used by researchers all over the world. Are you saying data aren't facts? Yes they are. It is the interpretation of data that can be iffy especially when people correlate without justification. You don't need to be a Phd to identify this.
Hi. Yes I'd be glad to talk to you hon
