Morning anxiety attacks

Morning all

So I’ve woke up burning up heart racing head pouring with sweat fast breathing typical morning anxiety...fearing I’m gonna die total meltdown and toilet runs are terrible 😝

My only thing I can do is get out of bed quick and do something because my thoughts are terrible.

I’m on meds but weaning so had to up them again till I can bypass these attacks.. I have health anxiety and depression and ptsd so feeling like this triggers off everything..

Is anyone else having this right now I feel so alone

Hello Nat, I don't have that experience but rest assured many others no doubt do. This sounds mostly anxiety which IMO is more easily treated than depression or ptsd. Of course depression and ptsd can cause anxiety the amount depending on how prone you are to anxiety but this complicates things more than if it was just anxiety. Glad someone made you laugh-that will help.

It will settle down soon and will improve over time. When you are mostly over it and feel up to it, don't just forget about this bad spell. Do all you can to find out about anxiety for which there are self help ways to alleviate it, and you'll be better able to cope if it happens again..

Imo depression is less easily treated ( i don't know much about PTSD) generally but if you're lucky you will have a type which is more easily treated. What you need is a good understanding GP with time to talk to you without being rushed, almost impossible to find but try.A very good friend with some wisdom is a good substitute ( still difficult to find but easier).

One things for sure in the present covid time many many more people have even worse problems and are experiencing or will experience similar things. The fact you are reaching out even if only to a forum will help you.

best of luck Olderal

Hi

She did BP heart the works , she thinks the pain is bad IBS and has put me on a tablet but said if that did not work then she would do a stress test or something but she thought the med would work , but guess what I am thinking the med won't work and it will be serious !

No hope is there :-( x

I know , I at least have to give these meds a try and hubby was here and heard everything and as she said some patients she would send straight for the tests , and doing the tests is more of a suggestion to shut me up but she did not really felt I needed them .....so lets hope :-) x

Just a friendly reminder

Natzsteveo, that you're definitely NOT alone. A lot of folks here on this blog care a great deal about your happiness and well being. Could you do me a favor? Describe to me what you believe to be one of your best qualities as a person and give us a "for instance" (from your life).

Also, tell me what you think was the most powerful experience in your life. And just because it may have been powerful for you, it not necessarily may have been significant for someone else.....

Thank you, Natz

Martin

hi Martin

One of my best qualities is I always put everyone first before myself

I've gone without to provide for my own kids and family which most people do i think.

The most powerful Is ive come back from being physically and mentally abused my father .until I left home at 19 (45 now) havent spoken to him since i left home. I refused to be treated like that by anyone now .

Hope ive understood you well

Thanks Martin 😊

Nat

I've been through the morning anxiety before for sure. Do you have an emergency med for when anxiety hits? Emergency meds have really helped me with this issue.

No only ones I take regular maybe I should look into this

Thanks so much
