Hello, I’m new to all of this

Hello, during social distancing for 60 days and I’m quite sure it has affected me. Thank God next week I can open up my business again and go to work.

My first panic attack was when I was 14 watching the movie In Time it’s felt like a heart attack it was horrible. I got over it until collage, I wanted to go to Law school and I was getting my Bachelor at Politics. I eventually dropped out because I got emotionally ruined because of all the pressure. I god social phobia, anxiety depression, I got treated for like a year or more on Clonazepam and Prozac, I’ve never abused of them. Back in September I went on vacation and accidentally left my medicines back home and I continued and literally drops of cold blood my medications, nothing happend maybe because it was vacation and my mind was so exited about it.. anyways, I left them and did not go back, went to therapist (still going) but once or twice a month. I do not take pills unless I can’t sleep and I choose wisely how to use them. Because if get insomnia sometimes and RLS.

Once I left my medication (Prozac) I kept going and was doing excelente, during those months I moved and did my thing at work, stared my own stuff, I was feeling fantastic for like 5 months or 6 I was really into CrossFit and it was super until my Colinergic Urticaria (allergic to my body heat, etc) got really bad and I had to quit working out, that’s when I realized I was going back down hill. Then I decided to go to my allergist and we where trying out some test and trying our medications but then COVID19 happens, and I did not get better. So because it’s a skin condition it is emocional too, so it got really bad point I could not cook, take the dogs outside during sunny part of the day could not eat hot things the list goes on...

So then I stared playing video games a lot to make my days go faster since I’m quarantine I can’t do nothing AT ALL but my Xbox and tv got burned out because is voltage issues at home and I can’t play no more or watch . And I can’t find a new tv at Walmart to distract me.

Anyways enough with my frustrating intro.

What really frustrates me the most is that I can do anything in the day but when night falls, I get uncontrollable, that’s where my head does not stop and I become more frustrated and I need help. But I can’t do nothing so here I am.

I need tips for how to manage that bed time mind crazy things. Any thing you guys want to talk or make me feel better or help me out will be amazing.

P.S I talk Spanish so if my typing is badly I’m sorry I’m not use to writing in English. Thank you

I feel the same way..during the night everything hits me and it gets so much worse.

If you get the app called ‘Headspace’ it will help with blocking out the thoughts, calming the mind and so much more. Do some research on the benefits of mindfulness and meditation because that’s what it is pretty much! Also listening to happy music helps as well or just soft tunes.

Unless you has said that as a Spanish language native speaker, and about your use of English I would not have noticed, I liked the e on excellent and cold blood being cold turkey I would not have guessed. I am in Venlafaxine which I wish was Prozac because of the short half-life of Ven vs Prozac but I am not good on Prozac.

I am sorry to hear how much it's affected you, in my understanding benzodiazepines lower the heart rate and stop some or most of the effects of sweating from panic and anxiety. When you worked out were you on Clonazepam? Just thought it might have helped your reaction to your allergic reaction to heat, not the condition but the fact that the Clonazepam could have made it able to do the exercise you did for the while?

Not having a tv or Xbox... I would be in a dark place without Netflix and Xbox One. But on a more serious note I hope you find you are not the only one feeling forlorn in these times.
