Hi RainDay3, as a person who dislikes the sun and loves a storm I heart your handle. It’s great that you are reaching out. There are a lot of different personalities on this website and I’m sure you’ll find the support you are looking for here. If you ever need some flippant conversation, then send me a message.
I certainly hope so. We are all here to help each other. If you ever need to talk about something bothering you I would suggest you give as much detail about an event or feeling as you can. I have read many posts by others that I didn’t know how to respond to because I wasn’t given enough info. And never hesitate to share any good thing happening in your life as well. I know I love to celebrate a positive as much as I love to be supportive of a negative. Don’t ever be a stranger!
Thanks for the advice. That makes sense. And I like the tip about sharing the positive. The positive in my case would be my wonderful supportive husband - and also the fact that the pandemic restrictions are easing somewhat here - so at least there will be places to go. Just to be able to go to a library or somewhere again will help.
Hello nice to meet you. Looking forward to getting to know you.
Hi Rainyday3
First of all do you take antidepressants?
If so, you shouldn't be feeling like that, may need to change meds. I too get lonely, when I do, I go fishing, go to the park or visit my siblings. Some days I push myself to get out, once I put on my make up, do my hair and put on something pretty, then I'm okay!
