Thanks for your post. I have been there too. I have had to work hard on overcoming an overactive self protection mechanism. I can recommend seeing your doctor as the first step to overcoming the anxiety which flares up in next to no time. Recognizing the feelings and working with them rather than against them requires special work with a therapist. Reluctantly I combined medication with therapy to achieve the best outcome for me. Telehealth is certainly a good option at this time of Covid-19 virus. There are also books which might help or you can do research online if you can't make to a doctor.

ImShy sorry that you are going thru this. do you know what triggers this to happen? what action/words/events happened to initially create this type of reaction? have you talked to anyone like your family or dr about this? when you do, it releases it and helps you cope at that moment.
