I listen to LBC, talk radio or news (radio or channel on tv) and that gives my mind something to think about and good conversation
We all feel on some level very similar. When a lot is happening, or mentally distressed, this thing happens.
Find ways to bring you some peace. Listen to inspiring podcasts, or motivational speakers, or get lost in music. Whatever usually helps you feel more connected to yourself.
Sometimes people get stuck and lost and feel like they are losing their mind. But if you seem to notice this feeling, your doing pretty okay. You’re aware.
You are not alone, I feel this way all the time. “Autopilot” is the best way I can describe it. Have you tried hanging outside/in nature to soak up time without distractions/demands? Maybe you’re overwhelmed and that helps me when I feel overwhelmed.
I don’t know everything u r feeling, but it makes me remember feeling ‘frozen’ . Absolutely nothing helped me escape that feeling until I went on medications. It is the worst feeling I know in the world.
Sounds like you might have a form of Depersonalization disorder. A first step is to see if this fits and then research treatment and self help options. The first step is to understand it. I've had this off and on over the years. Everyone needs a purpose and doing creative things like music or art helps as does things like volunteering at a animal shelter which helps with making emotional bonds to animals. Do you have a job or are you basically just stuck at home with no purpose? You need a purpose. Humans are happiest when working on projects to build, clean, groom, grow, or scavenging for things. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deper...
I agree that meds are something you might need and help you. But in the meantime, you need to get out of your mind which might be focused on negative things and unhelpful thoughts. Start with baby steps. I would not recommend going to people for now because they can be unpredictable for you. What I mean is that they might say something that offends or hurt you without meaning to. So start with something where you can sit down and just enjoy like reading inspirational books. Something like “Chicken Soup for the Soul.” This book might be able to help ease your mind to more positive thinking.
Thank you Alladin gonna read that ...Told my momma and she helping too I thought she gonna think I'm kinda going crazy but she told me she been through it before and that relieved a part of me.
