Take it from someone who let college work them into so much anxiety that they developed an autoimmune disorder...its not worth it. Without your health, nothing else matters. Do what you can, but mental health comes first. Focus on the fact that you wouldn't be studying what you're studying if you didn't already pass more classes than you've failed. You are smart and capable. Honestly everyone is probably having difficulties concentrating right now. Have you thought about maybe asking for an extension on assignments/more time to study?

My mind is on another planet, that's the reason i can not study, okay, i can hold my book for hours---> the result------> is just zero

Returning to myself, saying, what i was thinking about!!!!!!??? But the problem i can not realize, like i fell asleep

What are you struggling to focus on? I've been struggling a lot with focus too lately, especially since this crisis started. I don't know if it helps to hear this or not, but you're not the only one, and it doesn't mean something's wrong with you. My pastoral care professor says that, right now, a lack of focus is going to creep in, and the best thing to do is not to beat yourself up about it but accept that it's going to be hard to focus when a whole new routine (and potentially, a traumatic experience) is occurring. This is perfectly normal. It will get better, but it's going to be hard for a while and that's okay. A lot of people, myself included, are going through something similar right now. Be gentle with yourself, and focus on your successes, rather than your failures. :)

I'm trying to do so, hope it's a Matter of time

Been there, currently there. Battled depression for two years without knowing what it was. You feel like you can't do anything, incapable, "dumb", even though I don't like that expression. Couldn't focus. Completing one little exercise or reading a chapter was a victory! My advice: take it one day at a time and remember what is your goal at the end of the day. And if you're a believer, pray a lot. Right now, I'm trying hard to keep the negativity out and focus on my goals. I might fail this last year of my studies and not get my degree so believe me when I say I understand your situation. Take it ONE. DAY. AT. A. TIME. And most of all, BREATHE. I'm here to chat if you want to talk so don't hesitate to send me a message :)

How do you like to communicate?

in reply toOmarHamada

However you like. On here if that makes you comfortable, I know some people want to stay anonymous :)

I can relate- I can’t focus on studying either. My job of 8 years told me I have to pass a certification exam to keep my job. U would think that would motivate me to study but it isn’t working. I sit in front of my computer with all the material that I need to learn and just can’t focus enough to do any of it. I’m scared and so tired of being “out of it”.... I wish I was a normal person again.

Be strong please. Try to do whatever you can. Good luck.

Expelling from the university is to hard, i understand your situation, I don't know what to do, it's too hard to remember yourself as the best version of it.

I will be happy to help you

Hey! If it helps, when I am really out of it, I videocall my friends and we work together. Watching them work motivates me to do so. I don't care that I'm doing something completely different or that they are working faster. I am WORKING. And that's better than doing nothing. If you can, try this. I hope it works. Wish you all the success you deserve :)
