Anxiety and music
I love music, it helps me all the time I need it with anxiety, and I don't think the genre matters, it depend on the person, I usually listen rap music because is my favorite genre but other types like pop, classical, pop-rock, rock or metal music helps me aswell.
If you're looking for a singer or group I recommend NF (is a rapper who suffer from ocd and anxiety and he has songs about it)
And my favorite group is Against the Current, which have a song I feel very relate to called "Voices"
Hi EE!
Music is so powerful. I've composed songs in the past and enjoyed the process immensely.
Nowadays recording software is inexpensive to free.
As for songs, I listen to old rock like Jethro Tull, Yes and then go to christian artists like Lauren Daigle, Sara Groves, Michael W Smith, Phil Keaggy, etc.
I became a believer in Jesus Christ back in college and this changed my taste in music big time. I needed something that "fed" me spiritually, not just a beat that sounded good. My recovery from depression really relies on finding God's truth for me and music is one of those avenues.
I'm not much for RAP music, but there are some christian rappers that sing very spiritual lyrics. Try them out on iTunes.
Lauren Daigle is a good artist!
I do! I like Christian music or something that sounds happy. Songs with good messages also help.
