Doing something physical helps me— whether walking around the house, scrubbing tubs and sinks, anything that makes my brain focus on moving my body. I have heard that when your brain is preoccupied with basic physical moves, the worry/anxiety can’t be the focus at that time. Just a 20 minute walk works for me... walk ten minutes away from the house and then walk back.

Hi. Taking some slow deep breaths. Intentionally slowing down. In for a few seconds...hold....and then out for several seconds. Being very aware of your breathing and the rise and fall of your chest. It’s a strategy I use when I’m meditating

Ditto to both these. Laughter is a good one. Biking. Read books by peoplewith anxiety.

I have a few ways actually. One is prayer. I find that fills me with a peace that helps me face whatever is giving me anxiety. Two is know my triggers. This is super important so you can be prepared, but also so you can begin healing in those areas. Triggers are often attached to something bigger that has been painful in your life and often something that has been pushed down and not dealt with. Dealing with things is one of the best ways to prevent anxiety from raring its ugly head over and over. Three is to have a way of escape, something that calms me. This can be a song or songs, talking a walk, having a cup of tea. Find those things. Get to know yourself... what makes you happy, what calms you, what angers you, etc. By knowing this, you are better equipped to live a beautiful abundant life, what you are meant to have. Sending prayers and big hugs!!!
