Itβs snowing... π this is not what I wanted but life doesnβt always go as I want so I just look for the silver lining no matter how bleak it may appear.
There was no traffic this morning on the way in to doctors this morning... itβs darker out so no added pain triggers.... doctors waiting room is empty but 1 other person... in 30 mins early for appointment so I can upload this... π
Just want to remind everyone to not stress about what life hands u... breath, adapt yourself and stay calm! We can change/control our reactions, sometimes our situations but never can we control people around us or their reactions....
keep calm and carry on...π

Thank you for this post.... I was just about ready to go off site for a while.... I too can't take constant negatives that many are posting about, I understand all the concern, but I need a break from it too. And your post was just what I needed. Someone being positive, spiraling into negativity does no one any good, survival mode is kicked in for us here, and we are all taking a well needed break actually. Sleeping in, no extra running around, it's okay really.
Admitting way too many triggering posts about all that is wrong in the world and this panic and Iβm back to <4 hours sleep...
This post and your message is so welcome to my morning. My attitude is, I get another night tonight to try and sleep, all is not lost. I made hashbrowns to go with my eggs, so Iβm happy about that. ππ
a little bacon, vegan bacon if your a veg...and it just gets better...ohhhh...and biscuits...homemade of course...and don't spare on the butter. Omg...now I want really bad stuff like chicken fried steak with gravy, hash browns, ham...yum....
I know, I'm southern too.... and I just have to say....I was a vegitarian for about 13 + years because I am an animal lover....but was a lacto/ova... I just didn't want to kill anything to eat..... But we live on a family farm now, we don't handle the cattle, the brothers do....we are all neighbors on the same land.... They are very humane and caring...
I had started menopause, and got terrible cluster migraines for the first time in my life, I just couldn't stop them....then my doctor told me I wasn't getting the right kind of protien to balance my hormones....I just gave in. And yes...they are lessened in intensity....but honestly...I just really missed BBQ too.... pork ribs are the bomb.
My husband uses a rub that is amazing and makes everything so juicy and tender. Iβm a Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce fan. Sometimes we get two flavors and mix them together.
Have had feedback that vitamin c supplements at high levels of at least 4000 mg a day has helped pain after operations and with arthritis and joint pain.
Nerve blocks are a good way to deal with post operative pain... vitamin c a water soluable vitamin promotes healing of cuts and does help immunity for some things... best thing u canβt OD on it as excess is just passed out via kidneys... π
That's the standard information. It's been known for many years through Linus Pauling research that high doses of vitamin C can help the body recover from sickness. It can reach the biofilm round the virus and disrupts it so the cells can't multiply. As you say it is excreted but higher doses can help the body rid from other toxins present in our diet from Mercury lead aluminium. If you take it throughout the day you can replenish it. Animals make it themselves with an enzyme. Humans have lost the enzyme through evolution so have to have daily doses. As I have had poor health for last few years any research to help the immune system is welcomed. If you look up Dr Mercola you can find original research from Oregon Institute with pioneer search by Linus Pauling on most of vitamins and minerals we need including vitamin C. Taking each day at a time and enjoying yourself with your pets and interests keeps you going.
