Anyone Take Cymbalta low dose for only a short period of time and still experience withdrawal? Just looking for real time examples vs. what the doctors seem to mis-represent or interpret. I was only taking for just under three months at 20 and 30mg, but ever since going off a month ago have felt terrible - mood swings, increased anxiety, body aches, hot flashes, panic attacks, increased BP and heart rate on and off, nausea, lack of appetite, sleep disturbances. Just wondering when this is going to subside...

Sorry you are experiencing this. I can't answer your question. I tried it once and never took another dose because it made me feel odd that night. I would assume that like with anything else your body needs to readjust to not having it and that could explain your symptoms. It's like withdrawal. As long as you are thinking any ill thoughts and you are able to function, is highly advise not going back to it and just let these symptoms take their course. You won't have them forever. Good luck

Thank you! I am never ever going back to it - and I'm so glad I only took it for the short time I did. Interesting that you felt odd as well. I had a friend who took it for two months and she said she felt awful on it as well. I've been off it for about 6-8 weeks now and hoping things shake out soon. Thanks for your input.
