suffering from Postpartum depression and anxiety and i need some advice on how to cope and i don't know if iam on the right med..Bupropion..

Hi!iam suffering from postpartum depression and anxiety..i have been on the meds since 2017 sometimes iam better but right now i feel hot on my head because i didn't took the med in December because we had a problem with the supplier..please help will i get cured and get back to normal again?

I want to say yes you will! I was on Buproprion for 2 years in my twenties. I weaned off of it until I was triggered in my early thirties. I weaned off of it again until I was triggered in my late thirties. I've been off the medicine now 5 years. I probably only used it for a total 5 years over my entire life and I'm 44. One thing to be aware of, one doctor change my meds from SR to XL, and the XL was actually making me feel really strange. So I had the doctor prescribe the SR. Also, I have heard that Bupropion creates anxiety in some people, so talk to your doctor if you think that is happening.

I feel for you, I had terrible Postpartum symptoms after the birth of my son. That was 57 years ago, the help was non existent. They gave me tranquilizers. Talk to your Dr. get all the help and support you can get. Is your med. available now, can you get back on it, it is never good to stop something cold turkey. Your Gynecologist should be able to answer your questions. Talk to us, we will try to be of help and give you support. I send you peace, hope, strength, love and big hugs......Sprinkle 1.....
