Who Rescued Who?

A happy update.

I posted a while back about the effect that losing my "fur Baby" this time last year had on me.

Thank you for all who sent messages of support.

I'm happy to report that I have been rescued by a new "fur baby" !

We met a a local animal (county) shelter..

She's a two yr old Poodle "mix" , much like my Lexi was..

Her name is "Frankie" (after Lilly Tomlin's character on "Grace and Frankie"..

Frankie was a "pick up stray" by county animal control. She'd only been at the county shelter about seven days when I received a post alerting me about her.

She has been a God send and at just the right time! Oh, I still deal with depression but much less so..I have ore of a reason to live, again.

Hello. That is so wonderful! It's good to know that you are doing well now and that your new dog is helping you.

It's nice to see that these dogs get adopted into loving homes.

Thank you. Shes' settling in well and "taken over" an area in each room of my cabin.. I've rescued several dogs as well as cats over the years.. I don't support breeders. As well, I wish more pet owners would be more responsible in many ways.

There is nothing like a dogs love. I don’t think it’s possible to find any soul that will love you as unconditionally. Congrats on the new pooch, she’s adorable
