So I am excited about the premiere of Catfish tonight!!!

Seriously at 38 years old it never gets old to me! I’ve been catfished in my much younger years sighhhh lol but I laugh at it now!! 😆. Plus it’s a good pick me up after a longgggg day!!

Yeahhh I was catfished when I was 20 years old. When I was living in the dorm and another student catfished me, this guy that was apparently in one of my classes 🤨. It came off “stalkerish”

What gets me how long these individuals would go without seeing the person, I mean years, my alleged catfish lasted a week. His profile picture was not him, which it looked fake but I went along with it and when he told me he went to the same university I went too, I asked him to met me at the student hall and he actually showed and told me the truth which he couldn’t hide any longer that he wasn’t the person in the picture 😆. No hard feelings on my end, I don’t like to put ppl down. I explained we can remain friends and we did!

One episode it was 4 years like are you serious, but my breaks for them, they genuinely love the person and they got lies to, it's a lose lose situation

Oh yes and he was in town filming here then said he was off to Australia but coming back. The dude obviously followed him. I don’t know where he got the pics was pics of his family not posed and him in airplane lol. I got bored of it.

I know I watched a catfish of a guy who really thought he was talking to Katy Perry it was creepy and when he met the real person he then thought Katy Perry was playing a trick on him and didn’t want to “expose her real self” bc she was a celebrity. He wouldn’t let go of the idea he wasn’t talking to Katy Perry. 😂😂😂😂😂

I've only watched the original film, but I haven't seen any of the TV series.

I thought the film was really heartwarming as he felt sorry for the catfisher and she wasn't humiliated in the show.

I have my doubts whether it was real or staged, but I think it alerted people to catfishing.

Nowadays people would hopefully be catfished and see the funny side of it rather than be angry or vengeful.

Finally if someone gets catfished based on what they think is perfection then they are shallow.

Personally I have found plainer girls to be far nicer inside than beautiful ones, I've only been disappointed by pretty girls that have turned out to be rotten to the core inside whereas the plainer ones are still good friends and I choose to remain single for fear of getting another bitch.

I like how Nev did not “put down” or humiliate the catfisher. He learned from his experience.
