So this is a pretty positive post (which I rarely make!). My spring semester classes start tomorrow and it's a new year! The main thing I want to do this semester/year is to find new hobbies that I love! I realize that I am so into my schooling right now (which is great) but I want to do other things. As a general update, I've found a couple of friends/homies/girlies and I'm very happy about that. I'm also currently talking to a great guy. So hobbies are the only thing currently left! I've already written one short story and I plan to write more. Most of them stem from weird dreams I've had. I've also started bullet journaling (which I am not so good at now but I plan on getting better!). I also dabble in painting small canvases. Typing this all out makes me seem super creative and artsy but I don't really think I am!
No actual point to this post, I'm just personally proud of myself for the things I've accomplished already! If anyone needs help finding hobbies I guess I can help now!

Kudos to you! It's always fun to try out new things that interest you and things that you never even thought of trying. I took a day class in wood turning once. It was fun. I'm looking into a photography class now.
Thanks so much! And wood turning sounds really cool. I'd like to try it some day. I'm not too handy with stuff like that though haha. And I hope you enjoy the photography, my friend really loves taking and editing pictures so it seems like a fun activity.
The wood turning was interesting. The class was to make a wooden mallet. Well being me and not needing a mallet my thing ended up looking like a pepper grinder and I had fun. The speed of the lathe was slightly intimidating.
