Today I went to the gym, took pre workout and lifted weights, nothing out of the usual for me. When I finished my workout I felt like I was having a heart attack. My left breast felt tight and I couldn't breathe. My friend took me to the ER and they told me I had a panic attack. They took blood, urine, and an ekg. I know that wasn't panic though. I have had my fair share of panic attacks and that was not one. I told them that but they still said that's what it was. They just gave me Motrin and anti nausea medication but neither is helping me. I'm home now but I still feel slight pain. I am going to the doctor tomorrow to figure out what exactly is happening. The ER I went to didn't have the best staff and the doctor didn't seem like the type to care about his patients. Maybe it was a long day for him. I don't know. It's just been a long and difficult day.

I’m sorry this happened.
I went to the er with something similar,i do have anxiety but it was something else . The doctors gave me a referral for a heart specialist just to be sure ,even though it it was probably not serious but it is to discuss with heart ,maybe you could ask for referral ,you could probably get one from your g.p. even just for peace of mind 🤗
Thank you for taking the time to respond, guys. Here is my update. I could not make an appointment to see my doctor until Saturday. However, I think I found out what happened. I had 800mg of caffeine running through my already caffeine sensitive, little body when I usually only drink 200mg before a workout. Long story short, the prework out that i take every day ran out and I improvised with two energy drinks at the gym. I didn't look at the numbers so I didn't know how much caffeine I was drinking. I am afraid I did damage to my heart so I am hoping the doctor can tell me if I did or not. Until the appointment, no gym and no caffeine whatsoever for me. I still have chest pains but they are not as intense.
