Mice

I live in an old house in the middle of nowhere so mice is kind of a given, but it’s really really bad this year. I spent hours redoing the vanity in the bathroom and cleaning it out then two days later there’s poop in it again. So I put traps out but I’m really anxious about them. I want the mice out of my house but I don’t want to just kill all of them. Plus that means I would actually have to keep putting traps out night after night and actually have to know how many were in my house to begin with. The anxiety flared up again because even though it was dark I’m pretty sure there was one in one of my bathroom traps. Then even as I started to open this app I heard another one snap from the other room. It makes me want to throw up.

Put down mice killer. They eat it and leave looking for water and they die. That way you don't have to deal with individual traps.

Obviously not in open areas if you have pets. But the cabinet sounds ok.

Oh poor you. I hate mice but as I always have cats I never get any indoors. Can you get one or borrow a friends cat for a few days? x

We have a cat but he tends to destroy furniture so he gets quarantined at night. Which unfortunately is mostly when they are out. He did catch one yesterday but he doesn’t eat them, he just carries them around until he gets bored... 🤢

Well fed domesticated cats don't usually eat their catches but do kill them. I am surprised mice come in when they can smell a cat!
