I have not posted much lately as I have been dealing with a never ending migraine. I am due for my BOTOX injection this week and when it gets close to the three month mark the BOTOX wears off and I am down for the count. Add the holidays and my anxiety and depression and some days I just can't function. I hope everyone found some peace, love and happiness during the holiday. I was lucky and had some myself. Now as the year is coming to an end I am anxious to see 2019 end. Just wanted to check in and wish all of you well. Your support and helpful suggestions mean the world to me.

How often can you get the Botox shots? Do you have to wait longer than the 3 months?

I schedule the next one at each appointment and go exactly three months apart give or take a day. They worked well for quite awhile but lately seem to wear off 2 to 3 weeks before the next appointment. My husband is helping me do some research. I suffer from chronic complex migraines with no aura so they are very difficult to treat. I may leave the area for more specialized treatment. That is what we are researching online.

I had migraines for many years. So I know the pain. I've seen headlines on new treatments. I've never read the articles because I don't suffer as much any more.

I hope you find something that works. They are so debilitating.

Thanks. I have had them since I was a child. Was supposed to outgrow them, was supposed to get better when I was pregnant, were supposed to get better after menopause...nope hasn't happened. I've stumped numerous doctors locally. They have no idea how to treat me. Guess you could say I'm unique lol
