Oh that's horrible and I am so sorry. I hope he hasn't taken anything.

I was mugged once on my doorstep by 2 'men' in London. They were very quick and in 1 second flat had grabbed my bag and run off. I never saw it again.

Fortunately coz of the crime rate where I lived my money, keys, and cards were all in my pockets so all they got was a set of old darts and 3 cigarettes. x

Thanks and I hope so to because I can’t replace anything that is in it.

Sorry to hear that you were mugged at least you didn’t have anything important in the bag but it is still hard for that to happen.

Yes I felt violated and angry and still do when I think about it. I don't know how people think they have the right to rob you and I wonder how they would like it if it happened to their mother or sisters.

Coz I lived in a rough area I always bought coats with big pockets so I could keep the essential things in there, but that's not the point. This can unfortunately happen anywhere and we are all vulnerable. x

I feel the exact same as you and it’s not easy. It is a drug addict that robbed me in the hope I had something in the bag he could sell. Exactly they wouldn’t like it to happen to anybody in their family.

Good idea to get a coat a big pockets I would do the same thing only for it wouldn’t stop people robbing from pockets where I live anyway. Yeah unfortunately it can happen anywhere and it makes people vulnerable that it has happened to.

Yes you never forget it. For ever afterwards when I turned the corner to my street I would always check no one was behind me or possibly following me and could sneak up on me unawares.

I saw 2 young teenagers behaving suspiciously when waiting for a bus once and knew they were trying to set me up. I had long thought that if this happened I would run to the pub by the bus stop. Anyway I did and just then my bus came bowling down the road so I shot back and jumped on it. When I got to the pub a friend bought me a drink as she said I looked whitefaced. x

It would be hard to forget. I was by myself as well. I do that as well a lot always watching to see if somebody is watching me or anything as it does happen a lot. My dog always warned me of that before she died two months ago if that happened anytime I was walking her.

Thank god you got away from those teenagers quick enough and that you are ok. I am glad your friend helped you out.

That’s terrific that your bag was found! Luckily your stuff was the only casualty and you weren’t a victim of a violent crime.

I know it sucks to lose personal stuff, but at the end of the day it’s just stuff. Either way you will be fine🙂

Yeah thank god my bag was found I just hope that everything is still in it because I can’t replace anything that is in it but one thing in it is very important to me that I need back so I hope it’s their. Yeah I am glad I wasn’t attacked by the guy but I have had that experience as I have been attacked three times in the last 4 months.
