Depersonalization

Does anyone else suffer from this? It is getting very hard for me to function with it. It leaves me very panicked, yet disconnected, it is like the worst of both worlds. No one I talk to seems to get it, that is when I am able to talk, a lot of times the depersonalization makes it very hard for me to function in the outside world. My new med is seeming to help some, but it is hard to think and reason with this. Anyone who is able to talk about it, I would really appreciate it.

I understand, it’s so hard when you have a lack of self identity. You must have been through a lot. Sometimes I don’t want to speak to anyone all day long, but that is not a good road to go down. I believe you must force yourself to do things that you find hard. Humans are meant to be social. Hopefully your meds will help.
