Make an I did list

I am a list maker. Always have been and always will be. But I often expect too much from myself and make to do lists you could use as wallpaper. So I decided to start each day with a list of what ABSOLUTELY MUST be done. Then throughout the day I make an "I did" list. Nothing is too trivial for this list. Taking a shower, making a phone call, making dinner, everything goes on this list. At the end of the day I read it. Has changed my perspective. Instead of being upset over all the things I didn't do I now realize how much I do. Even on my worst days I know I accomplished something. I hope some of you will make your own lists and give yourself credit.

That's why I write even the little things down. Some days I feel useless but feeding my pets and other little things are important. I do some of them so automatically I forget how important they are.

Your welcome. I hope you try this. I often focus on what I haven't done and beat myself up. This has helped me realize I do more than I think I do. Has helped my self esteem.
