Fever, cold sweats, nausea, vomiting, body aches, head ache, pressure in eyes, sore throat, and congestion. On top of having to take care of three kids under the age of 6. I woke up from a nap feeling worse. My husband works third shift and won’t stay home to help me. My parents and siblings don’t seem to care that I’m struggling right now. They say it takes a village to raise a family but my village is absent when I truly need their help.

Sick
Tell me about it. My husband won't work and we had to move into his mom's house. I do everything from make the money to pay the bills, get my daughter up for the day, breakfast, pack lunch take her to school and work all day while my husband stays home and does nothing for about 800 days in a row so far. I havent had more than two days for years. I'm tired and his mother just picks on me for not coming through for them. Wth? I want to give up but I have to keep going for my girl. She will one day see my struggle. Just do what you can for the kids and try to find time for yourself if possible. It's worth it for the kids to take care of them and make them happy. I hope you find some relief some day.
Make sure your kids are safe and do the best you can.
Nap on the couch with them in front of you.
Maybe your husband can't take the time off? Does he sleep all day or up early afternoon?
You won't be sick forever. It is draining And difficult. I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you. I was able to power through without having a mental breakdown or dying. Sometimes it’s just hard always having to be the strong one, the rock, the one who takes care of everyone else. I’ve been so independent and self sufficient since a young age I just wish sometimes someone would take care of me.
I know all about that. I lived my life that way for a long time.
What I finally learned is only I can take care of me. I do that now. I treat myself better. I take time for me. Mayb you need to start squeezing in some me time. You are worth it.
We are caretakers. Unfortunately, not everyone is going to give back what we have given out.
I'm glad you are feeling better. It's tough to get sick with little ones. There are no days off.
Take care of yourself
