London Psychiatrist
Contact the Royal London Imperial College. Professor David Nutt works there. Unfortunately, he doesn't see patients anymore (I saw him in Bristol in 2005/06). But I'm sure there is a Psychopharmacology department there. Or email Prof Nutt himself and ask for some guidance. He usually replies. Heres the page with his email shown. Not exactly 'hidden'. He's moved on to Psychedelics now and especially their place in depression and other mood disorders. Very controversial man not scared to tell it as it is.

Dear Lilybells,
I Used, to know, a Very Good Hypnotherapist many years back now- I might be able to 'contact' him again- if he's still alive, that is!
I forget the 'Trade Organisation(s) for Psychologists/ Psychiatrists/ Counsellors etc but there IS one. All Members are Registered and, more importantly, Both Insured And Qualified. I'm sure that a Quick Search, of The Internet, would provide all the necessary details.
Please don't be 'Put Off', by one bad experience, Most Psychiatrists are Professional's and adhere to a Strict Code Of Practice. It is, for want of a better word, "Unfortunate" that you 'found' a, no doubt unregistered, Charlatan.
What a lovely 'Name' you have chosen, for yourself, Lilybells do you mind if I ask how you Chose it please?
Very best wishes
AndrewT
