I just found a job at Whole foods which will open next month sometime. Scared as heck when I'm working due to my anxiety and depression. Not sure how this is going to go with it. I have orientation next month for 8 hours. I have my vistaril to take the edge off for anxiousness on top of the prozac

I used to have terrible feelings of dread & fearfulness before my shift at work. It would come over me like a flood. When I got there all the fears left and I just got on with the job.

Sometimes the anxiety, or the fear, is worse than the reality. The first few steps may be the hardest - we have to persevere past them.

Hope you will be happy there. We can only take each step, and each day, at a time.

Think you are an amazing person. So many people say they cannot do this or that because of depression or anxiety. They often end up with no life at all, just sat at home doing "nothing" of any importance. If you ask them what they are doing or their news it is always about what their family or their carer or partner is doing, never about them. Such a waste. Such a sadness. To feel anxiety and yet still move forward towards it is the bravest thing you can do. It shows you have guts and brains because you know things must change and improve.
