Morning Runs and Anxiety ***Emetophobia Potential Trigger Warning***

Hi, all. So I'm a runner and often like to run races, but I tend to do better in the afternoon or evening. When I run in the morning, I feel sick as a dog, and it's hard for me not to get sick (as in v****). I usually don't have this problem later in the day unless I eat something really greasy or spicy. I also know that my anxiety tends to be worse in the morning and can make me feel physically ill. I am a totally different person, for instance, with public speaking in the evening vs. morning. Could the thing with morning runs be anxiety-related? The body reacting to high cortisol levels in the morning maybe? I take meds already, so what more could I do to stop this from happening? Or should I just run later races from now on and avoid morning runs altogether?
