I heard this today

Stop recreating your own issues. You have to determine in your mind to be someone different, to live a different life. You have to determine that.

I like that. It's kinda like "change your story., change yourlife" Your own thoughts become your reality. They become a story. So if one changes their thoughts and the story they keep telling themselves they can change their whole life.

I watched this TED talk on Netflix by Brene Brown that is very interesting to watch. She talks about the stories that we tell ourselves. It's very good to me.

Are you okay? Do you say things you regret?

No. I say things that others don’t want to hear. Not my circus, not my monkeys.

I and you have always managed very healthy interaction, and healthy discussions, and it seems to be difficult for some to understand that we can agree to disagree and still remain civil and respectful. I have always appreciated that about your discussions. It's how we all can have healthy dialogue without being over reactive....its good skill sets for others to have when out in the real world. I feel you set that example. We don't always have to be right or angry because someone doesn't agree with us, but some take their disagreement too far. I've been on the brunt end of that many times here, but eventually oil floats to the surface and separates truth from BS. I think humility is as important a skill as self respect.

Take it from one who has tried. It’s true what they say about old dogs and leopard spots 😱😎❤️

This is true. Sometimes people who live in fear, or who are negative or worried or sad perpetuate it over and over again by expecting it to be that way or allowing it to be.
