Have to move

So I’ve decided I can no longer live in the home I shared with my ex. It’s been about a month since he left and I’ve had one good week out of the last 4. The prices of rentals in Ottawa is absolutely ridiculous though so I have no idea where I’m going to go. I’m staying with my parents for the time being but this is not a long term solution. Any financial advise would be greatly appreciated.

There are often small back cottages, or rooms for rent that can be very affordable. I'd look for something transitional till you can afford your own place.

hello, nothing to offer, only a similarity of experience, i came here 5 years back as i was being persecuted, my old friend then took over the persecution, which almost broke my spirit, but i won't give up, i can't get back to london, i now have depression because of it and sleep poorly~ i look at others, they all seem ok,i might be too self-pitying? best of luck to you
