Moving home is on the horizon. I'm absolutely crushed with stress and anxiety. Everything that could possibly go wrong is racing through my head, can't sleep. It's absolutely terrible. Has anyone else had this. I been told its normal, but I can't imagine it being worse. I feel totally ill with it. Any advice welcome

Moving
I moved house back in May and I found it very stressful as well.
What helped me was taking things a day at a time and taking my time with things.
I am a list maker. I make a list of what needs to be done, then under each one I write everything down I need to make sure is taken care of. Then I keep that list handy adding and checking off as I need to. It works for me. Got through both my kids weddings without a hitch. Well almost, didn’t take my list to the receptions daughter forgot to cut the cake. Oops! Left with 150 cupcakes and a cake!
No, new home for myself. I terrible for anxiety. Blow everything up out of proportion. Analyse everything that could go wrong from smallest detail. Can't seem think positive, and this has hit me like hammer. Just trying to focus
moving is so stressful. We were a military family for 13 years. We moved non stop, it never got less stressful. I learned to just remind myself it would happen either way so I should start early so I’m not throwing things in boxes last minute lol. My biggest advice is label the room the boxes are going to on the top and on the side. That way you can move them straight into that room. Pack one room up at a time to completion and then stop. Same with unpacking. Starting with your kitchen. And throw stuff away, lots of stuff. If you don’t love it purge it!
Ty all for your input. I'll take it on board. Anxiety, the scourge of most of our lives
just double check everything to make sure and make sure you contact all your important people in regards to changing address and all should be ok.
I moved over the summer. I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, I was crying a lot. It was horrible
I've been in my new home since July. It took me about a month to get settled. I'm happy I did it but I've never felt that stressed out in my life.

had a hangover when I moved here it was a nightmare somehow tore off an electrical socket moving my sofa as well.
Kenster! You have the greatest stories
Well here's one. There was a leaking pipe that soaked the subfloor. They took the flooring off and it was a disaster. While they were doing that I stood on a wet part and fell through the floor hahaha

usually me that does this type of thing.
Yes I know. You've always got a good story to tell You make me laugh
we had a veranda at the back door but after we handed the keys back realised I`d left things in the veranda including ladders went down at night climbed over the veranda got my ladders glad I wasn`t mistaken for a robber.
