Just hang out here. You’ll find out how or if it fits you and some good coping skills. A few therapy appointments wouldn’t be bad to sort of nail it down.
Ok, so I'm telling you "you are not a hypochondriac"! Sounds like anxiety to me! I feel like it's time to engage in some mental health therapy and possibly anxiety meds. You gotta get some sleep or this thing is just going to cause more issues. What do you think? You are not alone in this for sure. Good karma coming your way!
You’re 1000% percent not a hypochondriac. I’ve hit the ER maybe 4 times in a few years for totally nothing, something that seemed crazy like chest pain/back pain, but was not too serious. It hurts to know other people have to hear that shit too, cause it’s super frustrating and scary when you feel like you’re the only one taking these alarming things seriously.
While it’s bad and you should get help for it however you need/want to, insomnia like that can be common when you have bad anxiety, or just other shit happening. And unless you’re having other symptoms or something really out of the ordinary, your breathing is fine. My rule of thumb is that if I’m alive, conscious, and capable of working a full day, it’s probably not life threatening or imminently bad. Of course, trust yourself, know your body and its always better to be safe than have your pride. But you’re fine hun, knowing that your body does weird shit helps to make you make better sense of it. Hope this helps, feel better.
Since my doctor put me on Paxil CR I am doing 90% better after 5 weeks. No panic attacks - some anxiety - slowly but surely going away. Maybe time for some meds? Good luck.
